Devil with a cause X

Imperius is see sprinting into the city, and runs over anyone on the walkway to the jarl's house. Still clutching the emerald

Marcus strode into Dawnstar coming from the east on his pale horse, he looked around him trying to spot the Argonian anywhere in the immediate area, though he knew that Legate was smarter than to just be sitting out in the open. The people of Dawnstar looked at Marcus some in awe as his armor was still stained with the blood from his previous engagement in Solitude.

Imperius exits the jarl's bunkhouse with the emerald and the silver in his "pockets" and spots Marcus then hides from his sight ... Watching him

Marcus got off of his horse and walked up to the nearest guard he could find and, with intimidation that could rival the devil, asked, "Where is the Argonian?".

The Guard said, "B-by the d-docks," he said scared for his life and then Marcus began to walk towards the dock and as he got closer an Argonian shape began to appear in Marcus' view.

Marcus rushes to the side of the dock watching Legate dive into the water, "Damn!" he yells, knowing he has to react quickly he cast a huge frost spell that begins to quickly freeze the water in the immediate vicinity of Dawnstar, including the water that Legate is in.

When macrus goes to leave he finds an arrow as it lands between his legs with a note saying "1-2 I'm comin for you"

Marcus looked beneath him and picked up the arrow reading the message, he snarled simply saying, "Imperial". Quickly he looks around and tries to sense him, but it seems he is not in the area any longer he snarls, angry that he missed him and now he sits and waits for Legate to return.

As Legate enters his home the familiar voice of Shadock begins to speak to him in his head.The voice is eeire and echoes in his head "Legate, i've instructed the vampire following you Marcus Vittelius to bring you to Winterhold so we can begin our plans for our council. The illusion that attacted you was a test of strength, there is no room for the week in our counciillll. Return to Winterhold with Marcus."

Marcus senses Legate has returned to the surface and runs to his pale horse to go and meet up with Legate. When he finally finds Legate just outside of town he looks him over, he seems angry and then Marcus simply asks, "Are you done?".

He growled before making a loud pitched sound that seemed like a mix between a whistle and a hiss. The shadows seemed to bubble in the background and a mare made of pure darkness seemed to take shape and run beside Legate. He whispered something in it's ear before mounting and heading to Winterhold "Life is as sweet as a sweet roll, though I have words to speak with to our.......associate."
