New Lessons X

Aedar woke up that morning, his back giving him trouble, but he managed to get up anyways and he headed to his kitchen and grabbed some bread and meat eating at his table waiting for his new student to wake.

The traveler awakens, grabs a spell book and walks to the kitchen looking for food.

Aedar looks at the Traveler and hands him some meat and Alto Wine, "Take some it'll wake you up," said Aedar and then, seeing his book he asks, "What are you reading there, boy?"

The traveler paying no attention to the mages actions replies "I'm no boy, my name is Decius. And the book is Withersins."

Noticing that Decius wasn't taking the food, Aedar says to him, "Hungry?"

A series of loud knock was then heard at the door.

"Yes I am." Decius takes the venison and walks to the door. "Hello?" while opening the door.

When the door was opened noone was there save a little boy with a bottle. "Hello mister! I was told to give you this." and hands the man a bottle with a liquid inside.

" Oh... ok." Decius shuts the door and walks back to Aedar and says "I assume this is yours."

Aedar looks at the bottle then looks at Decius and goes back to eating saying, "Not mine,"

"fine guess it's mine then." pours half into aedrar's wine while he's not looking then pours the rest into his own wine.

Aedar grabs his wine and takes a sip feeling it tastes a little funny, but all in all not really caring

Decius noticing that it didn't seem to have any effect drinks his own wine also noticing the taste difference.

First Aedar then Decius begin to feel a funny sensation in there mouths and stomachs.

Aedar says, "Decius...Where's the potion?"

"Someone write this down. Never under any circumstances trust a child with anything! They will just poison your wine." Decius says looking for his cure poison potion in his room.

Just then they both lose conrol of there bodies and fall to the floor. They then begin to seize up losing control of there bowels and vomiting there breakfast everywhere.

"Fuc--i---g ki-- I'll kill -------!" Decius while throwing up his partial breakfast and crawling for the potion.

As the vomiting cedes they gain control of there bowels ,but a paralysis effect sets in and they feel the need of more of the potion. A great addiction set in making them want more and more of the potion, but they are paralyzed on the floor. The toxin lasts for about an hour before the paralysis wears off.

When the paralysis wears off Decius goes through his satchel looking for a healing potion, finds it drinks it curing the addiction. Then notices he only had one.

Aedar gets up rubbing his head and says, "Of all the things to do..." and he walks over to his shelf picking out a cure disease potion and drinks it.

Not being a disease the potion has no effect and his need for more of the mysterious potion grows.

Noticing nothing happened he grabbed a healing potion and took a drink feeling more relieved.

"So... What's the lesson?" Decius says after recovery from the sudden sickness

Aedar walks over to Decius and smiles, "Nothing stuns you does it Decius? Anyways, yes the next lesson will be on wards, now can you explain to me how a ward works?" says Aedar.
